Diploma dress

When starting to work in 3D, one of the first things I tried to realise, was digitalising the final dress of my graduate collection at the University of Arts Berlin from 2005. Though draping in 3D is possible and quite rewarding, the biggest challenge laid in capturing the unique fluidity of the fabric by Swiss company Forster Rohner. The fabric clings to the body, which provokes collision issues, so I had to compromise to some extent on the look.
